Ubutee is an AI assistant platform based in Sydney, Australia. We provide personal AI assistants to help busy professionals manage their time, communications, and tasks. These Terms of Service govern your use of Ubutee's website, platform, and services.
By creating an account, joining our waitlist, or using any Ubutee service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Ubutee.
When you connect a third-party account such as Gmail or Outlook, you authorise Ubutee to access and act on that account on your behalf, within the permissions you grant. You can revoke this access at any time through your account settings or through the relevant third-party platform.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Please notify us immediately at hello@ubutee.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
Your Ubutee assistant can perform actions on your behalf including reading emails, sending emails, managing calendar events, organising inbox labels, and other tasks you specifically authorise. By default, sensitive actions such as sending emails require your approval before being executed.
You can configure the level of autonomy your assistant has through your account settings. You remain responsible for all actions taken by your assistant on your behalf.
You agree not to use Ubutee to:
We process your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Your data is stored on servers located in Sydney, Australia. We do not sell your data to third parties.
When you connect a third-party account, we store access tokens securely to enable your assistant to act on your behalf. You can revoke this access at any time.
Content you create using Ubutee — including emails, documents, and notes — remains yours. Ubutee does not claim ownership over content generated on your behalf.
The Ubutee platform, brand, and technology are owned by Ubutee and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
We aim to keep Ubutee available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We will notify users of planned maintenance where possible.
Ubutee is provided as a platform to assist you — it is not a substitute for professional advice including legal, financial, medical, or psychological advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ubutee is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including any actions taken by your assistant on your behalf that you have authorised.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of Ubutee is limited to the amount you have paid us in the three months prior to the claim.
You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us at hello@ubutee.com. We will delete your data within 7 days of cancellation.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, with notice where possible.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email before significant changes take effect. Continued use of Ubutee after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New South Wales.
